Open House, Whitehorse Public Library June 11, 2026

This was an in-person and on-line presentation with our Friends of the Yukon Wild Horses Society which spoke about the horses in the Ibex Valley. In-person guests Julia Ahlgren and Bastien Ipas from the Yukon government spoke on the Animal Protection and Care Act, and on-line presenter biologist Wayne McCrory spoke on the British Columbia wild Horses (the Wild Horse Preserve), and environmental studies in the Alberta for impact by the horses on the environment.
